Event Full Details: Fariba Tabrizi flees Iran following persecution for a lesbian relationship. However, her application for asylum in Germany is denied by the authorities and Fariba has to try to survive as an illegal immigrant in a strange country.

Tickets for this event are FREE but places are limited so please reserve yours by clicking here to reserve on Eventbrite. As part of Manchester University’s Transnational Desires programme, researchers from the University have organised a series of screenings of European Lesbian & Gay themed films, hosted at The LGF. Each of the free screenings will be followed by a short discussion. For more information about the programme and the screenings email transnationaldesires@gmail.com.
