Speakers include Anastasia Valassopoulos (Manchester), Suryia Nayak (Salford),Rubina Jasani (Manchester), Sima Imsir (Manchester) and Sarah Newport (Manchester).

Following the seminar there will be a wine reception to launch Suryia Nayak’s new book, Race, Gender and the Activism of Black Feminist Theory (Routledge, 2015).
